Meet Dr. Zombek

I am having the time of my life practicing orthodontics. I am truly blessed to be a part of such a wonderful profession, and I look forward to welcoming you and your entire family as both patients and friends.

After I started dental school, my grandmother informed me that our last name, Zombek, meant "little tooth" in Polish. I knew then I had found my calling: not only straightening teeth but creating beautiful, healthy smiles.

My beautiful wife Randi and I have three children, Reese, William, and Zachary. I love collecting sports memorabilia (as you'll probably notice when you visit our offices), working out, traveling, and spending time with my family.

Orthodontic FAQ

How can I tell if my child needs orthodontic treatment?

It's a tough question for parents, especially if their children still have baby teeth. Will their child really need orthodontics? It may be hard to determine, especially in smaller children.

At Zombek Orthodontics, we can help you determine whether your child needs braces, Invisalign or other options. The first step is to start a virtual consult right here from the website. We'll let you know if treatment is necessary, and we'll guide you every step of the way.

What age should I take my child to the orthodontist?

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends treatment can start as young as 7 years old. The earlier your child's dental issues are addressed, the less surgery and treatment may be required later.

Many parents believe children can't wear braces while they still have baby teeth. In fact, correcting the locations of the baby teeth can help the permanent teeth come in straight. Correcting other issues, such as misaligned arches, crowded teeth or gapped teeth, can reduce the need for permanent teeth removal later. So it's perfectly acceptable to start your child's orthodontic treatment before they have all of their permanent teeth.

How long will treatment take?

Treatment times can vary for a number of reasons, including the severity of the dental issues and if there is more than one issue that needs to be addressed. It also will depend on the type of treatment chosen, whether it's braces, Invisalign or another option.

During your initial one-on-one consultation with Zombek Orthodontics, we'll provide an estimate on how long treatment may take, so you can make an informed decision before treatment begins.

Will insurance cover my treatment?

Our services may be covered by most major insurance policies. We can work with you and your insurance company to determine what your policy covers.

How much does treatment cost?

Treatment costs can vary, depending on the length of treatment, the severity of the dental issues and the appliances chosen (braces, Invisalign, etc.). We will lay out all of the costs for you before you make your treatment decision.

Do you offer monthly payment plans?

Yes! We offer in-house financing with 0% interest. To keep costs down, we also offer an extended payment plan option that allows you to spread payments out over 24 months.

Does Invisalign cost more than braces?

Invisalign is comparable to braces but can cost slightly more. Cost depends on the severity of the issues and the length of treatment time.

Do you offer a family discount?

Yes! We offer a discount for each additional family member who undergoes treatment with us.
